With the help of our wonderful volunteers, Regenerate has been able to furnish new homes for families escaping family violence. Regenerate volunteers assist with making beds, unpacking goods, assembling and moving furniture, and putting away kitchenware.

Regenerate is a registered charity that assists people who are re-establishing a home after experiencing domestic abuse and homelessness.
Help assemble duffel bags or children’s joy packs for families in crisis. Tasks include organising inventory, detagging items, quality checking, assembling and packing duffles and boxes, recycling and disposing of packaging.
Location: Warehouse
Time commitment: 2–3 hour shift on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month
Great for: Volunteers who are detail-focused and enjoy structured, hands-on tasks. This role is suitable for everyone including those who would like to volunteer but experience decreased mobility.

Wash and fold sheets, towels, and bedding using our storage-friendly folding method (training provided).
Location: Warehouse
Time commitment: 2–3 hour shift on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Great for: Volunteers who are able mobile and able to multitask.

Assemble flat-pack furniture such as sofas, tables, and TV units. Requires confidence with drills and basic tools.
Location: Warehouse / On-site
Time commitment: 2–3 hour shift on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month plus one Saturday a quarter (dates advised)
Great for: Handy, practical volunteers.

Support our team in setting up homes for families moving out of crisis. Unpacking and assembling small furniture items, setting up bedrooms including making beds, unpack and set up of kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Clean up of boxes and plastics.
Location: On-site (travel by own car required)
Time commitment: ~2 hours on-site + travel. Weekly on a Tuesday and/or Thursday
Great for: Volunteers who can undertake tasks that would be done when moving into a new home.
